CNC Machinery Tender

BSC Die Casting and Finishing Ltd are investing in new energy efficient CNC machines to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. This includes the replacement of ageing equipment to improve production efficiency. An initial review of available solutions has identified the following machine types as suitable benchmarks; however, alternative equipment will be considered where it can demonstrate performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the referenced machines.

The proposed scope currently comprises of;

1, a toolroom CNC machining centre, with performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the benchmark LK-VM6;

2, a CNC machine for replacement of an existing machine shop unit, with performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the benchmark LK-ULTRA 7;

3, a CNC machining centre to provide additional machine shop capacity, with performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the benchmark LK-VM2, that includes a CNC 4+1 Axis with performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the benchmark DETRON 4+1 Axis;

4, a CNC lathe to provide additional capacity, with performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the benchmark LTR10.
